Lsu got its notoriety in the 90's when most of the country didn't care about college baseball and they certainly didn't invest in it like now.

They've done little since

Except won a natty and played for another this decade, along with several SEC titles.

By your definition Tenner has done less than nothing under Vitello

This whole post is worthless.

Paul Maineiri got old, tired, quit recruiting, and started coasting after the 2017 season (a season where LSU played in the CWS Finals). He retired after the 2021 season (there was no 2020 season).

LSU replaces him with a younger, hungrier coach. In year 2 of newer coaches regime, LSU is #1 for most of the season and is a Top 8 National seed.

All you’re really saying is what everyone knows: an old coach glided for 3 years and was replaced. That’s it. That’s the story.

Good to know you measure your teams success based on how it compares to LSU. Most people base it on championships but to each his own I guess.

"Easiest path"? Sorry, old fart's brain here, forgot, just how highly ranked was that powerhouse N.D team who beat the Vols on their home field last year?

And yet hasn’t been to Omaha since 2017 with your last title coming in 2009. LSU isn’t the same program they was in the 90’s. You won 4 titles in the 90’s. 2 titles since 2000. LSU isn’t the premier baseball school it was in the 90’s. Sorry to be the one to tell you that. UT has more SEC wins than LSU over the last 5 years and more trips to Omaha since 2017.

Going 2 and q in omaha is nothing to write home about. Ever. There's a standard for the great teams. Tenner has never been one.

Remind us all, how did they do?

How many national championships do you have?

Think before you talk. #dumbass

Tennessee has hosted more times last 6 years than LSU has. Matter of fact Tennessee hasn’t lost a Regional game in 4 years. Last regional loss for UT was June 2nd 2019.

UT been to Omaha more recent than LSU.

TN could make Omaha for the next 13 years just to even up the appearance.

That’s funny! Haven’t missed a regional since 2017. A flash in the pan don’t make the lost season 6 consecutive years now. A flash in the pan don’t win every game in the regionals it’s played over the last 4 years. UT is #3 in SEC wins over the last 5 years. Guess who’s #1 and #2? I’ll give you a hint, it’s not LSU.

All with zero national titles. Congrats I guess I’ll take the 6 we’ve had in my lifetime.
