And no wins in omaha. It just sounds like a team that routinely chokes.

More like a Little Smokey Laval coached team since 2017

Big Smoke Laval
75-43 (SEC record)
4 Regionals
3 Super Regionals
2 CWS

Little Smokey Vitello
71-49 (SEC record)
3 Regionals
2 Super Regionals
1 CWS

Little Smokey is THIS close to being the new Smoke.

Tip your hat to daddy Little Smokey

Flash in the pans are the teams that never do anything in the real postseason, which is omaha.

By your standards, LSU is a flash in the pan and hasn’t made the real post season since 2017.

Lsu got a gift. SHSU was the weakess # 2. Tulane was the only tourney team with a losing record.

Matched with Kentucky. Gimme a break. UK has never been to Omaha ever. Only SEC team that hasn't. They've only won 1 regional ever. And only 1 conference (split) title ever.

They gave Lsu the easiest path.

Can’t even compare them considering the team they both took over was drastically different. LSU was a national power and just won the National Title. Vitello took over a team that win 9 SEC games. Don’t compare the 1st couple years. You will get a more accurate assesmnt when you compare both coaches last 5 years.

Again, UT has had more success in Baseball than LSU has in the last 6 years. Vitello has a winning record against LSU since becoming HC.

Again, actually win something before shitposting.

LSU was in the title game in 2017 though. That's not a flash in the pan. We underachieved by our standards, got a younger hungry coach and adjusted back to what we are, with seasons like this.

Tenner has been bad forever and had a little postseason fun. 0 Omaha wins, so you aren't nationally jack shite.

No, if we were paired with Tenners regional host site it would be easier.

Lsu got its notoriety in the 90's when most of the country didn't care about college baseball and they certainly didn't invest in it like now.

They've done little since. SidewalkTiger you know this.

Let’s take a look at both teams 2 years prior to each coahc taking over at LSU and UT.

LSU: Skip was HC
2000- National Champions, 52-17, #1
2001 won the west, 44-21, finished #10
2002- Smoke takes over top 10 team.

UT: Serrano was HC
2016- 9 SEC wins, 6th in East
2017- 7 SEC wins, 7th in East

2005 was last time UT had winning conference record till Vitello done it in his 3rd season at UT in 2020.

Both situations totally different. Vitello better coach than smoke by far.

Cherry picking Vols best era against LSU’s worst in last 30 years. But that’s cool. I’m told I do that with LSU football since 2000.

Numbers say otherwise Little Ricky.

Lol you love recency bias, use it this time.

What did LSU do to Tenner this year? Win the series 2-1? Dominate games one and two against their best pitchers? They did.
