Oklahoma is going to do just fine in the SEC. just like TAMU has done! They'll knock off LSU one year and get team cups.

I seriously thought an SEC board would want to talk legitimate football. Some posters do

AS previously noted, it would be good to have a board for civil discussion but apparently not going to happen.

Anyway, though I would have preferred not to expand the conference, I think Oklahoma will be a good fit. Not so sure about Tx

Significantly lower than UGA?

247 rankings since expansion-

UGA LSU
2021 93.49 (4) 92.75 (2)
2020 92.95 (4) 93.26 (3)
2019 93.32 (5) 90.75 (3)
2018 94.23 (7) 90.11 (1)
2017 92.27 (3) 91.05 (1)

The average star rating shows the gap a bit better and you add in 5* player() per class the difference really shows up. I knock UGA for doing less with more and having a staff of recruiters with little coaching but they can recruit. They have made a living off out rostering lesser teams. 2019 LSU bought a great roster and brought in a QB/OC combo that was able to put scheme and out play teams. Huge difference. UGA has peaked as far as what they can do without extreme luck going there way. They play with great emotion but without cohesion or team development. That’s why they consistently see a large number of arrests and inexplicable lose a random game or 2 every year they shouldn’t. LSU likely cycles through a couple more good not great seasons and dumps Ogre. LSU actually wants and expects to win titles, UGA is too cheap and too content beating up lesser and down programs to every take a risk on winning a title. They prefer stockpiles or recruits and hoping to get lucky.

I follow recruiting pretty extensively and LSU and Georgia are killing it. I think this will cause imcreased parity with Bama. It wouldn’t shock me if Bama isn’t quite as dominant as years past. Anyone agree? Disagree?

LSU and UGA have been “killing it” for years. Now, tell me about parity.

You keep saying this. Who did they buy?

If true, you're the first breaking this story.

you sound like a fricking snowflake.

Anyway...to answer the the question. LSU and UGA can definitely recruit well and at a high level. Bama has by far the best coaching and tons of depth. Bama is still top dog until Saban leaves.

OU is going to recruit at an Auburn level and not playing a Big 12 schedule with such mediocre talent is going to be hilarious. Does OU run back to the Big 12 in a decade?
