I follow recruiting pretty extensively and LSU and Georgia are killing it. I think this will cause imcreased parity with Bama. It wouldn’t shock me if Bama isn’t quite as dominant as years past. Anyone agree? Disagree?

It has been the same shite for 15 years. We’re always right there in recruiting.

Bama still has an advantage but it is close. Will need to see our new offense under 2nd year OC and JT Daniels to know where we are.

Both have been on par with Alabama for close to 20 years with a few off years from LSU, coaching has been the primary difference between Alabama, Georgia, and LSU. There are also enough players in the core southeast region to keep all of these schools stocked. All of these players staying close to home has led to the decline of Nebraska and the Big 10 schools not named Ohio State, even Tennessee has been affected.

If you did, you wouldn't be asking these dumb questions.

This is mostly correct, but if we're being honest LSU has lacked at the margins in a lot of years compared to Alabama and most recently UGA. I'm talking about those 2-3 players a year that put that class on the next level, and specifically with certain position groups such as QB and OL.

This is changing and I believe this class and the next class for LSU will have the roster stack up with any at every level and at every position group. The last two classes were on that level but you really need 3-4 classes straight to guarantee elite depth/talent at every level.

No you don’t. UGA has recruited at a high level and haven’t done squat. LSU recruitment is significantly lower than UGA and Bama overall. They bought 1 good team. Neither are on BAMAs level.

UGA is just too cheap to be champions. LSU lacks the common sense to pull off what Bama does.

2019. Players and coaches hired to win a title. Congrats on pulling it off by the way. Shame the scandals have earned it an *.

LSU has the talent to match Bama at the skilled positions. The issue is their OL is usually in a different league, and their DL has one all-star DT that LSU is missing. On the DL that looks to be changing for LSU. But the OL is still a major issue.

Ha. We hear that every year. Heard it last year and Alabama finished with the highest rated class ever according to 247 composite. Since you follow recruiting extensively you should know that

For the better, I hated when we moved to the 3-4 just because Bama did it. The problem was never defense in beating Bama. The problem has always been the offense.
