Current 2022 recruiting class, Alabama sits at #2 with 14 commits; LSU at #5 with 16 commits; Georgia at #7 with 13 commits.
Past 10 recruiting classes....
I have no doubt that Alabama will fall off slightly after Coach Saban retires; but he will leave the program at a high level.
And, I'm happy with what he has accomplished.

it's astounding to be honest. I remember in the years following the USC-UT natty when Tebow was at Florida and they won two and then we picked up another and then Saban came on at Bama, LSU gets that 2009 class and I am thinking...damn...other conferences better get their shite together because this SEC freight train is ROLLING. Little did we know it would lead us to kinda where we are as of a week ago - formalizing the first superconference.
Sure, OSU and Clempsin (with its GAUNTLET schedule) have made big noise but the championships are generally going to follow recruiting and nobody has come close to the SEC.
on a side note, as a North Carolina resident (BR Native), I must say that Clempsin fans make annoying BAMA and TAMU fans look like the most likeable, gracious people on earth. They are next-level insufferable. I apologize to my Bama brethren for ever thinking you were obnoxious. Clempsin redefines the word.
