Covid I don’t remember any UGA fans claiming this , And our team hasn’t
Used that as an excuse if anything we have accommodated all schedule changes that were thrown at us !

I guess people could say the Newman opt out over covid, but that was likely code for, took money from an agent.
I think the team has actually overachieved based on what Bennett was able to do for us.
All the defensive injuries are forcing us to get young guys much needed snaps.

Don't put us in the same category with Ed Chizik. We were disappointed to lose to Florida, but we aren't exactly going to finish with a losing record either.

Best D in the SEC was contingent on Jordan Davis being healthy. Stuffing the run starts with him.
We had injuries to Jermaine Johnson (starting sOLB), Monty Rice (starting mike) and DJ Daniel (3rd corner who not only rotates in with 1st team but also assists with nickel duties).
Johnson and Rice played limited snaps.
Daniel didnt play at all.

- and our 2 most important players on defense, our nose tackle Jordon Davis, and Julian Rochester, were both injured during the Kentucky game and haven't played since.
