There is not a team in the west I care less about. For ever we played the day after turkey day and I am always fishing that weekend. I missed the game every year and couldn't give a shite.
A&M is turning into what could be a rival. I wished we played them first game of the year like we used to back in the day. Oh and Bama...

For what its worth, arkansas games were exciting and competitive, unlike our new annual rival...

So you prefer beating a lesser team like a drum every year to a team that actually competes with you nearly every game regardless of records?

You guys seem to get in the way a lot, but still not a rival. We don't do those. Melts and overreactions happen equally for all opponents.

the Arkansas game has never really meant anything to LSU fans, and that's probably why Arkansas has been able to defeat LSU teams that on paper have outmatched them.
So it hinges on Lsu fans...what logic.

... Wait, we're rivals now? When did this happen?

Only Miss. State isn't our Superbowl when we play them now.

Truth be told, without the Saban years at LSU, no Arkansas fan would consider LSU a rival today. When this "rivalry" was announced, we didn't understand it, because we'd hardly played LSU in the previous decades. The only reason some consider it a rivalry today is because LSU caught lightening in a bottle and had its best decade in history, so Arkansas fans considered beating LSU a fun challenge. I still put Ole Miss and Texas A&M ahead of LSU, though. We've played both more than LSU, especially if you only consider the modern era.

The biggest rival to Arkansas is Little Rock, it's stadium and the select few who force is to play there has done more damage to the program than any other force over the past 2 decades.

To be fair, both programs had a "rivalry" forced on them when the 1st expansion happened. Neither wanted or embraced it.

Yea, that's true. Now we have Missouri, who I enjoy playing, but we only played Missouri 3 times in the 20th century and the last one was in 1963. We did split a couple of bowl games in the aughts, but the rest of our "rivalry" has come since Missouri joined the SEC.
