I was too young to remember the series in the 80’s-90’s so I never thought of A&M-LSU as a thing. But the last decade plus it’s been a pretty cool little “rivalry”. LSU absolutely owned it early on but it’s 3-3 in the last 6.

We shitpost eachother on here but the Aggie fans I know IRL are awesome people. It’s been a pretty good series.

I’ll be back to shitposting tomorrow and Saturday but cheers baws. Enjoy this moment in time where Aggie-LSU are at the top of the SEC and are playing for the inside track to Atlanta!

PS if the Aggies need directions there (since y’all haven’t been) just ask!

Yes, yall have the 2nd best mascot in College Football.
I am biased as someone that has had Shelties 40 of my 43 years.

Y'all have the best unis in college, and we have the best field- fitting for an Ag school.

I wish to God we keep playing LSU if we go to any pod system or permanent rivals.

I can live without Texas, but this cross-border rivalry is too good!

Agree this game needs to continue.

Both ag schools, both flagships in their states, both with great mascots, both with lots of common connections.

Too bad Texass had to come along & bump this game from season end. Imagine playing this for the SECCG guarantee.

I agree. To be honest I wish they would have kept our Black Friday game with Arkansas a tradition because I feel like LSU-A&M would have been a thing no matter what.

This is the 1st time we haven’t played Thanksgiving weekend. Both teams still have a shot for the SEC Championship Game and CFP. Neither team is eliminated and the winner has the inside track. This is so much better than it would have been last week of the season when one of us is likely eliminated (maybe this year is the exception but in the last 12 years at least one of us was already eliminated).

Win or Lose Saturday is going to be fricking awesome!

But, but ... but they're not Shelties.

I'm afraid of what the SEC will do for our Thanksgiving game. I do miss the Black Friday game, and every other team has a bigger rivalry for that weekend.

Definitely want to continue this growing rivalry. Would be a shame to lose it when whatever new format they eventually move to comes out.

Was actually gong to be making my first trip to CS since those 86-88 years but something came up and I had to sell mine. But looking forward to a great game in that great atmosphere. .

Shelties are great dogs, but the best canine mascot for Aggy would be a chihuahua.

The original Reveille was a mutt that some cadets ran over on the way back from thanksgiving break.

Not sure why the Anerican Border Collie was chosen ss successors.

There was a movement to make the Blue Heeler our mascot. I think that's the state dog of Texas.

Blue Lacey is state dog.

Would prefer that over heeler.

The thing about LSU that cracks me up is the more/better shite we talk the more yall seem to enjoy it. It's a damn good natural rivalry that still has room to grow.

Fuxk you all and I hope you have a shitty weekend, especially after our game Saturday night. But after this week (win or lose) I wouldn't be mad if your weekends got better.

My earliest college football memory is my dad fighting with the cable company trying to get Tiger Vision to work for an LSV v aTm game in 1986. Finally got it going, and I think LSU won that one.

It's a good rivalry, especially here in Houston we have tons of LSU alum and of course A&M has the largest student body in the country, with alumni all over
