Sharon Lewis, LSU’s associate athletic director of football recruiting, claims she was harassed and retaliated against for years after reporting former football coach Les Miles for sexual harassment according to state and federal lawsuits filed this week, first reported by USA Today.
Attorneys for Lewis says they will file a Title IX lawsuit against the university after their client claims she was underpaid and "tormented and discriminated based on sex and race" after blowing the whistle on Miles.

Because the HB report dug all of this up and put Sharon Lewis up on a pedestal as the one person at LSU who tried to do something on behalf of the victims and was ironically (seriously, the report used that word) the only employee LSU ever punished (prior to the HB report resulting in discipline for Segar and Ausberry).
It was super obvious to anyone who actually read the HB report that Sharon Lewis was the one person who had the biggest axe to grind with LSU.
Today's news should be not the least bit shocking to anyone paying attention.

LSU is going to have a strong want to make her happy (to keep more dirty laundry from being aired) and keep the focus on the sins of Miles and prior administrations (F. King, Alleva).
Ausberry will probably be sacrificed. Segar may as well.

- “it was consensual with the 14 year old... team vote,”
- “let’s hear it for being ‘gangstas’ and bad boys (and you wonder why the NCAA, SEC and most sober sports fans look at LSU with a jaundiced eye?),” etc. etc.
When does the fan base say “enough,?” Get rid of O, Wade, clean house, hire truly good coaches, go into the locker rooms and change that harassing frat boy culture? LSU could be a top school athletically.. but it will never be with this lying, cheating, abusing culture mentality that infects the staff and players. “Gangsta” only gets you so far...
Clean house, get right, move up.

It's absolutely true and it's only a defense when other schools start calling LSU cheaters. It is in no way a reason to get of it with the NCAA.
