This is for LSU's 1st team Defense which got replaced with 5 minutes left in Clemson game and sometime in the early 4th quarter in La Tech game.

Clemson: 70 total yards, 0 points
I consider the 3 points on the field goal to not be on defense as Leavitt threw an INT that gave Clemson the ball inside LSU's 30, then LSU D stonewalled them for negative 2 yards with a made field goal.

La Tech: won week one by an 80 to 6 score vs Northwestern St.
-1 total yards at halftime, 26 total yards, 0 points allowed

These 2 teams combined haven't driven the length of a football field on over 100 minutes of play and have let up 0 or 3 points depending on perspective.

Ole Miss has let up 800 total yards, 330 yards to Charlotte (who went 1-11 last year)

yeah but 3 INTs in just 30 minutes of play against LaTech so it's a wash

Pepperidge farm remembers when LSU fans said last years defense was the best since 2011 after playing the same teams the first 2 weeks

Last years D was top 30 in the nation. Pretty good when you look at the snap count. Offense had too many 3 and outs. Its about complimentary football. Lane even said our D has been getting off the field so fast the offense was winded at end of the 2nd on the 20 play drive which ended in a pick 6

I don't think we're very deep on defense though. That's eventually going to bite us in the arse.

You know who else beat Northwestern State? An NAIA team LSU defense is good, but that game tells you absolutely nothing.

We’ve given up way fewer yards this season. Way more big plays by our defense.

You could be right though I guess. Or you could just be finding anything to shite on LSU with
