FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt wasn't happy with Alabama's placement in the initial College Football Playoff rankings, which were released Tuesday night.
The Crimson Tide came in at No. 5, two spots ahead of No. 7 Texas and eight spots ahead of No. 13 Tennessee, which defeated Alabama earlier this season.
During his show Wednesday, Klatt questioned why Alabama was ranked ahead of Texas despite the Longhorns having a stronger résumé. He also criticized the committee for placing Tennessee so far behind a team it defeated head-to-head.
"How is Texas not ranked ahead of Alabama? That makes no sense," Klatt said. "Make it make sense. It can't. It just doesn't"
