Add in Chuck Fairbanks - recruiting misconduct and altered academic transcripts (forfeiting nine games from 1972)
Add in Barry Switzer - 20 major violations found in 1988 investigation that included:
cash payments to recruits and players
improper recruiting inducements
free airline tickets
ticket-scalping schemes
and efforts to conceal or misrepresent violations to investigators
Switzer personally wrote checks to pay rental car expenses for players, and booster Bill Lambert paid somewhere between 100 and 150 players, while recruiting coordinator Shirley Vaughan operated a ticket-scalping scheme that provided money to players.
Want to add in Brian Bosworth exposing OU's culture of widespread drug and steroid use and other misconduct?
How about QB Charles Thompson attempting to sell cocaine to an undercover FBI agent?
How about Switzer getting LE to keep some players' legal issues from becoming public?

That isn't a crime, though.
The last guy that did that was Bill McCartney at Colorado. He did it twice, and it did not work out well either time.
