Do a search on which states people are leaving.
Now search to which states they’re relocating.

Here’s the irony. Hundreds of thousands of blue state voters have been fleeing their former states in part due to Democratic-majority policies that result in high taxes, over-regulation, powerful unions, failing schools, increasing crime and anti-religious intolerance, only to support the very same “blue” ideologies and political candidates in their adopted “red” states.
Marxism is essentially a pyramid scheme....or like the borg from Star Trek (infilatrate, assimilate, and move on to replenish resources). History has proven that Marxism does not work once the inflow of new resources/countries dries up. Eventually, it runs out of other peoples resources to drain and is not self sustaining.

Does talking shite about 50 really make sense if you're 48 or 49?
For the record, I live in a state in the 20s, just asking.
Seemed to matter to a lot of LSU posters over the years on here.
Question for you... how come when something that doesn't portray Louisiana or LSU in a negative light you quickly try to establish a "it's all of us" but if it's something maybe negative about Bama or Texas A&M we have a bad problem.

When did I say Bama or A&M had a bad problem with anything?
As for Louisiana itself, I've never lived there and don't really care to, its a pretty shitty state if we're all being honest here.

I'm glad the experts think Alabama sucks so bad. Now if we can only keep people from moving here, or vacationing here.

Arkansas has to be at least 42, because I would not trade a single thing for what Oklahoma has

at Mississippi or Alabama people on here making fun of Louisiana. We're are spitting images of each other in terms of being shitty states.

California is not 19 for any of those metrics lmao
That’s not all that unreasonable taking into account how bad some of the states ranked below it are.
The states ranked in the bottom (MS, AL, LA) have regions of extreme poverty, illiteracy, and lack of healthcare access to the extent that states like California don’t even have close to an equivalent.
You can point to the flight from Cali, but the fact that the population even has the means to relocate (education, finance) puts it ahead of the vast majority of MS’s population.
Being ranked 19 isn’t that good, especially when one of the metrics is education and you have some of the top colleges in the country....
Cali being ranked 19 here is like Alabama finishing ranked 19th in football. It’s only “good” if you don’t take into account expectations given their advantages.

The stupid thing is for MS is that the state doesn’t even need to let go of a lot of all its conservative politics to see significant improvements in posturing.
They really just need to actively work on education/healthcare access, not resist purging of state-sponsored confederate imagery (ex: the old flag), and stop letting evangelical baptist-types run the state like it’s a church.
It’s not just the R side either. The Dem party as a whole has failed to invest in the state as there aren’t exactly a lot of good left wing options in the state either.
Honestly, the state should have just gotten into the marijuana export business a few years ago. MS would probably be rich right now with all the yuppie states treating the drug like it’s candy.

If Mississippi continues at its current pace it will be #1 in 48 years.
