Louisiana is in the bottom tier of every category pertaining to health, economy, and quality of life. In recent years it has sunk below the likes of Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas.

You say this without a hint of self awareness. "Shitholes" that exist within these states are almost always Democrat run. I'm not an unapologetic fan boy of the Republican party, but if you want to find areas with the highest crime, worst schools, highest homeless rates, etc., they are almost always run by a Democrat. It's not close.
