Louisiana TRO lawyer has added SEC/Sankey

Per Tony Clayton the amended TRO has been filed with the judge in Louisiana that adds the SEC as well as Greg Sankey to the request.
Same thing going to happen in Kentucky and Texas.

The SEC didn't ban the players. Any school can roster and pay them whatever they want. They will just face some sanctions for doing so.

I wonder what power a judge has here, can he order that the conference can not penalize a school for playing these players as a court has allowed them to play under the NCAA umbrella?

You used to speak very positively about how smart Lane was and how he "lapped" the rest of the conference in matters like this.

Sankey's gonna have a good argument that he's not stopping LSU from participating in college football.
LSU can go independent like ND.
They can join another conference that doesn't mind. They have options. He's not stopping LSU from playing these players. He's just penalizing them if they do. Completely different from the NCAA which was player specific.

The NCAA can’t penalize voluntary members for breaking rules. Why do people think the conferences will be able to enforce what the NCAA can’t?
Just like the NCAA, the conferences will get slapped down in the courts.
