If law was in place before judges decision that gave his ruling I would say ok. The timing on this is everything.

No but he is still ineligible in the eyes of the NCAA
You said the NCAA/SEC makes the eligibility decisions. NCAA said no, Trinidad is still playing.
If you can't put all of those comparisons together even though they are not the exact same way to get there then I can't help you
