Yes, they can, in future seasons. And just wait until you see how much of a target we have on our back with the officials if we follow through with signing these players.

They can if they make the rule before they did judges decision that they didn’t like. They wanted to take their ball and go home.

They have 11 of the past 12 seasons.

So if the kid actually stinks as a ball player and the coach doesn't play him, then he can sue the coach and athletic department for "playing time", correct? I mean, that looks to be the next spoke in the wheel. A coach is hindering said athlete from future gains by not playing him. That's the reason he can't make an NFL roster. Lack of playing time.
This is such an emotional post. It doesn't make any sense.

Who's they? Your school is part of the Conference.

What's emotional about it? Or are you just too stupid to answer it. I'll go with the latter.

The SEC could literally make an example of LSU and give them the nine best teams in the SEC for their schedule. Piss them off, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. Also, the hardest games could all be on the road so their home schedule is piss-poor, bringing down attendance. PI and other penalties such as holding could be called at inopportune times.
I'm sure there are other potential punishments I am missing.

You are clearly emotional and your question doesn't align with the basic facts related to this case at all.
Be less emotional and try and make a logical point.

It's kind of sad that you're desperately hoping the SEC will develop a vendetta against a member school.

I'm just telling you what happens when you piss off an entire conference. But you can continue to think you are above it all.

LSU didn't do anything worthy of "pissing off the entire conference". If you're pissed at LSU, that's more of a you problem than anything.

Love it! Keep it coming Lane!

These tards think the conference has the same LSU bias they have
I don't think they even realize that their teams are signing/will sign these players too. Aggie literally has a pro on their basketball roster right now.

SEC can not punish any coach or school that is said to be legal to play college ball
So if it's legal to not wear a shirt, a Louisiana State judge could tell everyone in that state that it's okay to enter any place of business without one, ergo that an employer couldn't enforce any dress codes at their establishments, either for its employees or customers?
Businesses and organizations are powerless to create and enforce their own rules?
