I’m sure that none of these guys will wind up at any Louisiana colleges, definitely not LSU:

"At it again" as if Ole Miss didn't just get back a player who should have been forced to go pro

Hello Alter/Bot

Transfer portal is closed, they would have to return to their original teams.

You think any rules apply in this situation? Funny.

I guarantee most if not all of these guys were contacted by schools in Louisiana to come to their programs and that’s why this judge made this ruling.

Is there anything this state won't do to win?

And they've been so unsuccessful at it.

Sad.

What if the judge says otherwise?

Yes, I do think they apply.

These are able to come back because of the new 5 for 5 - his argument was in the article you did not read

Pyburn's argument centers on the organization's five-year clock

This aligns with the previous ruling from Judge Charlotte Sweeney. She clarified the NCAA transfer rules could not be circumvented. You can go back, but only to the school you were at or if you had declared for the portal before closing you are a free agent still. She had added you could not have signed a NFL contract, however this ruling removed that. It does not appear it removed the transfer portal rules.

Ole Miss potentially getting 3 all SEC players back would be psychotic. I know we have at least one roster spot open too.

Name a team that’s won more NC’s since 2000 other than 3 or 4

There is only one school that has won 3 national championships since 2000 AND finished unranked 7 times since 2000. It is pretty amazing to watch the ups and downs of LSU football. The best soap opera on ESPN.

The timing of this is just silly

I mean, they headline it with Jack Pyburn, who had 2 sacks all of last season for LSU.
But he's coming off an NFL preseason game where he just got 2 sacks vs the Jets. He may have initially decided he needed a fallback plan, but I bet right now he's wanting to have a big game 2 for the Bucs. Another multi-sack game, and he's on somebody's opening day roster.

I doubt we want Pyburn again but he is pretty good against the run.
