Auburn must have a huge winning streak in that non intimidating empty and quiet stadium.

I’ve been going to Clemson games with some of my Clemson fan family members since Cullen Harper was the QB there and I can assure you it’s over-hyped. Sure, the Notre Dame game a few years ago was crazy and the occasional big OOC team goes there to play and it’s a good atmosphere but within the ACC Florida State is the only game where Clemson fans don’t either file out by the third quarter or just sit there and complain. The student section at Clemson is especially shitty, they can’t even sell the full student ticket allotment during the best run in program history.

Clemson #1, LSU #5?

You'd have to take the word of the LSU fan on this one. He's right.

I’ve been to most of the big ten, SEC and ACC...I’d put Lane Stadium at Virginia Tech at night as too 5. Their tailgating sucks but it is loud as hell during the game.

2017 -Eight days after Clemson beat Boston College on Sept. 23, head football coach Dabo Swinney had a message for the university’s students.

“We need our students to be there the whole game. And we need our fans to be there in the third quarter,” Swinney said on his weekly teleconference ahead of last weekend's Wake Forest game.

“We need to show up, and let’s have the same great atmosphere every single week, not be a place that shows up (just) for GameDay or night games.

I've been to The Big House a bunch of times for some big games and even though they are my second favorite team they are overrated in the loudest category. I've always contended that it's because the stadium is round and flat and too spread out.

Ohio State's Horseshoe is way louder and so is Penn State.

OOC both Va Tech and WVA are loud ... we uses to go to both places a lot back in our independent days.

Nebraska is great ... but I have not been there in years.
LSU at night is second to none.

In conference ...

LSU is second to none at night. I repeat, at night.

Sanford is also loud at night ... big time.

Jordan Hare is great, loud at night. I've only been there for two night games.

The Cock Pit (I'm biased) is one of the loudest at night.

Neyland used to be. Notsomuch lately.

I've been to three games in Little Rock (two vs my Gamecocks and one vs Texas back in the late 80s) and three in Fayetteville, and Little Rock is underrated in terms of loudness.

i've been to a bunch of games in The Swamp over the years and it can be the loudest at times when the Gators are playing good ball against someone who challenges them. Used to have a lake house down in Mt Dora and we would go to a game when friends gave us tickets ... that place can get loud and rowdy when it wants to for big games.

That has to do with a poorly designed student lottery system. The tickets were often going to students who didn't plan to go to the game.

Supposedly they have a new system for this season.

I don't recall fans 'filing out' in the 3rd quarter.

This list has Washington no. 1 loudest, Clemson no. 2

LINK

I wonder if that has something to do with being located next to a large lake, which is the case for both of these stadiums.

Auburn 1989- never been to a road venue that was louder.
Kyle field 2013
LSU anytime

Loudest stadium bowl/neutral site
1979 sugar bowl vs Penn state
2012 sec championship vs Georgia
2008 and 2009 sec championship vs Florida. These two games had the best atmosphere at neutral site games I've ever seen. Like that 79 game listed above, nobody ever sat down and it was clearly the two best teams in America.

Honest list not counting an SECCG in Atlanta that I have visited.

1. Auburn
2. LSU
3. Tenn
4. Clemson
5. South Carolina
6. Alabama
7. UGA
8.Arkansas
9. Miss St
10. Kentucky
11. Ole Miss
12. Colorado
13. Georgia Tech
14. NC State
15. Vandy
16. Duke

Not been to The Swamp or Kyle Field or Missouri yet. I am sure the 1st two would be top 5. Mizz probably in the next tier.of. Of course it all depends on how the game was going. Been to UT when they were murdeing us and it was loud and been there when we were up and pulling away by 20+ and you could have heard eggs cooking on a griddle 3 rows back.
