Saban must have done some lobbying this off-season.
He can’t have his players hitting women again on camera.

Lol..this hurts to admit…agreeing…but Sidewalk is 100% correct on this one. Let the kids enjoy a monumental win at home. The SEC picks up a shite pot of easy money.

Y’all leave this man alone. He was so terrified of that female student walking by him that he had no choice but to slug her in the head from behind after she passed.

These players and staffs deserve to be able to enter and leave a field safely with no box cutters being brought on the field or state troopers having to punch out some drunk frat boy who wants to fight a coach.
Strawman argument.
The only people in any actual danger seem to be fans rushing the field when Alabama players are coming off.

Football: students show up for the damn game on time!
Also Football: students don't leave at halftime!
Still football: students don't celebrate the end of a game!
I'd love to see statistics of injuries related to storming the field vs a regular game. If they aren't storming the field, they are going to be celebrating somewhere...

Beyond stupid. What's to stop UGA fans in this hypothetical to bring AU shirts with them and then storming the field- giving their team 3 home games in a row?
Posted on 4/24/23 at 1:32 pm to nicholastiger
Is there a magic number of fans storming to trigger this? Opposing fans buy up away tix and storm field after their team loses to get an extra future year home game. The next year the other teams opposing fans do ot so now ots evened up.
Let fans celebrate! They pay big money to attend and buy concessions. And its not every game only certain high level ones.

I say, keep fining the home team until they decide that they can afford a quick-up fencing.
You cannot penalize the team a home game. It costs their hometown city, millions to lose it.
