For example, Auburn upsets UGA this season in Jordan Hare, the penalty will be the next home game against UGA for Auburn on the future schedule will be a road game.

I definitely think that would be a deterrent.
Who would be the first to lose a future home game?

The other scenario would be the team would have to forfeit that game, does not have much traction.

Not us. They stopped us from storming the field back in the late 80's or early 90's

Not saying this in any kind of judgmental way.

But I laughed considering you are a fan of the fanbase known for being the drunkest at games.

It's a one year rule. Meant to protect fans from Jermaine Burton.

I can't see how the NCAA or SEC can get the schools to agree to this, much less enforce it.

Although the value of the home games are now worth less to the universities due to the massive TV deals, they still mean a ton to the university community or "stakeholders," particularly in true college towns like Athens, Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Oxford, Starkville, Fayetteville, Gainesville, College Station, etc.

If they really want to stop this just hire 100 people in yellow shirts to line the field

If you truly want to stop it it will take measures such as this to do so. A fine does nothing. These players and staffs deserve to be able to enter and leave a field safely with no box cutters being brought on the field or state troopers having to punch out some drunk frat boy who wants to fight a coach.

OR, let the team get off the field first and then the fans can do whatever the frick they want. I don't understand rushing the field anyway and what good it does and glad I root for a school that never does that.

People think about Auburn when it comes to storming the court or field and I’d like to know why.

Kick six and what else makes post curricular fan involvement sticky to Auburn?

Tubs beat some number one teams….years ago. And?

If you expect to win why do you need to storm the field.
It is the most redneck celebration ever! Players and coaches
are put into a dangerous situation with the rednecks coming
up to them, screaming curse words in their faces and threatening them. I have been going to Bama games since the
60's we have never stormed the field. As Coach Bryant said
win with dignity and class.

I think the safest thing is axing the post game extra-curriculum activities because we have seen FG post thrown into the Tennessee River. And enough damage and vandalism after wins to think a pack of thugs rode in.

So what happens once fans learn they can just as easily up the ante to their last big win? Or when they figure out they can have bad behavior during losses too. Do we want damage to get progressively worst or just go ahead and stop it all from maturation and nip it in the bud.

Is that the guy whose team started smoking cigars in their opponents locker rooms after winning?

Exactly ... it is both unenforceable and mindless.

Has the NCAA never heard of trolls and alts?

Now apply that to football fans wanting to get their arch rivals into trouble. Imagine the big money boosters paying part time students to do their bidding.

The potential for various shite shows are endless.

Just stupid. Storming is just students having fun. Leave them alone.

If you have got class you realize that all you’ve done is what you were supposed to do.

So Auburn would have to play in Athens three years in a row because students ran on the field after a game was over?

That would be beyond absurd.
