Just like you believe everything your totally incompetent admin will have you believe. There's no way that dude, whose never been on anyone's radar ever for any decent job was your first choice. I don't see how you can even repeat that with a straight face.

Auburn hired a guy no one had ever heard of. But he’s brought in some SEC guys with skins in SEC recruiting. We’ll see what he can do pretty quickly. But if nothing else, they shitcanned an expensive arse HC that had them mired in mediocrity too long. jMHO

Just because you havent heard of him doesnt mean the college football world hasn't.

Naiper is on the top of everyones list. Nap has a few years success, Harsin has almost a decade of winning 10+ in the G5.

Its funny the guy above you says no one sets out to get a Harsin, they end up with one... Yet Napier is on the top of everyones list with only a few years under his belt...

Nick Saban nor Urban Meyer had any southern ties...until they did.

A lot of ignorance has been going around.. if you didn’t know who Bryan Harsin was, then you don’t follow the entire landscape of college football and all you know about is in your bubble. It speaks more to your lack of knowledge than him being a nobody. He also interviewed at Arkansas and Mizzou previously and has been on many programs radar on the west coast. Just because someone isn’t considered a good hire to the rant means nothing. Pat Dye was hired from Wyoming and wasn’t considered a big name hire in the SEC at the time either..

Pat Dye will only be remember in the SEC and, after a few years, only in Alabama

You want people to believe Hardin was Auburn's first choice? Or even a top 10 choice?

Well, we all know Alabama fans will never forget about him. Also, Auburn named their field after him.

Good God the ignorance. It’s Harsin and tell everyone who the first choice was or the top 10 choices. We’d love to hear it.

In college football. College football is played outside of the south.

Most 'Bama fans will remember him for Eric Ramsey and for this quote a few years ago:

"We could play football for another 500 years and we couldn't catch up with the tradition Alabama has got."
