SEC money. I get your excitement with a second place finish. I truly do. Respectfully, you are in Texas and far from understanding the dynamics of high school ball in Al, Ga and Fl. Aubie competes daily with a total of 3 Fla schools, 2 Ga schools, 2 SC schools, Tenn and most recent years LSU not to mention big brother. Although not a state school
and centrally located between all, Aubie can/ has/ will continue to compete with relation to campus, facilities, recruiting with everyone except for big brother. Let’s be honest.... that’s another planet! Within 5 hours of Aubie there are 9-10 fellow brothers that seat 85-102k so again, thanks for catching up. So yes, instead of driving 10-12 hours to the damn middle of nowhere
and the only place to stay is Conroe.....damn right Aubie would rather be on Rocky Top or down in the Swamp instead of old SWC waste land.
The excuse that Gus will not be their coach to finish out their 3-4 years, offensive scheme and offensive linemen do not know pro style techniques, how to read defensive coverages and terminology therefore can not go to next level, offense only runs 2 counters and two pulling plays, 5 star receivers getting coached by a 2 star coach, lazy practices are long gone. This little brother learned from big brother. it’s a disciplined process and getting the young men to the next level. Aubie is happy the way things went down with hiring coach
H, boosters stayed out, AD did his work and found his man. The staff has deep roots, contacts, knowledge with high school coaches in these states not to mention a fresh approach with recruits and their families. If denied it would only show ignorance. Partnered with Apple, Aubie is moving dirt on new football only facility. Plans have been under way to expand/ improve JHS but why over build as some have so Aubie moving cautiously there. Not sure what this recent fetish with Aubie is right now but....you guys are not worthy! Thank my fellow brothers for your time. Carry on!
