If it gives you any hope, the say thing was being said about Brian Kelly, then A&M happened

We heard the same thing about Stoops buyout making changing coaches too cost prohibitive all season last year too.
The money is there if things are bad enough. Too much money lost if football is bad. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet.

Get ready for another great week of practice

USC fans don't want to hear it, but it's the smart move.
You can in fact do worse. If you don't believe me go look at Auburn after they fired Gus.
You need to have someone in mind and there was a big coaching sweep up last year.
Otherwise you gonna end up with Dan Mullen.

I think a lot of them would be ok with this

That womens basketball program is rolling though.

If I'm a scar fan, I'd be happy as hell to get Dan Mullen.

Maybe.
I mostly just name him as a joke because of them taking ex Florida coaches multiple times now.
And it's not that far fetched.

I think he'd be pretty good with a GM handling all the recruiting
From my understanding that was the biggest thing holding him back
He still managed to put together some MSU teams that could spoil a season and get to a bowl game
Much more interesting candidate than Fischer or BK , and already likes visors

They never have been. Idk why anyone would expect anything but a bad team from USCe football. Some of the most delusional fans around. They’ve never won anything and every year they expect to win something.

Outside of a couple years with Spurrier, has USCe ever been serious about its football program?

When schools start subsidizing programs, I think the coaching salaries have got to go down. Spend the money on players, go cheap on the coaches.

None of us expect to win a title. We do expect not to have more double digit blown leads in last 4 years than we did in more than 20 years with Holtz, Spurrier and Muschamp. That is a firing offense for any program.

Might as well try another failed head coach

Terrible coaching from South Carolina! Send 'em all back to the high school ranks, where maybe they can squeak out a win every now and then.
