I had a class with Murphy last summer. Dude smokes way too much weed. He would talk about that and other things in class all the time. I was behind him in line at the Corner Store one time, and he was buying some blount wraps, and when i was leaving the store, I saw him in his oldsmobile, parked on the side of the road, chiefing his brains out.

Pretty funny motherfricker though. Dude seems to know a bit about acid too, which I found to be weird for a black guy(noracist). It was a drug awareness education class BTW.

I wish I was still in college so I can smoke the weed.

He went to Hoover. Them fricking white boys probably got him to try all kind of shite. He probably jams out to U2 in the pregame

I would be like if it weren't for it being Murphy.
Bama/Saban has really been through a lot for this guy...a lot more trouble than anyone would have reasonably go through if his abilities weren't know. Kerry was slated to be a contributor next season...fact.
I 99% certain the medical issue in this rumor - if true - actually IS legit.

Just do it. As someone who really doesn't have an interest in weed one way or another, does anyone actually think marijuana will be illegal in 50 years? You'd think, for once, we'd be progressive about something and go ahead and accept the change in times. meh

Q: How many socialist does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: Phish
and
Q: How many hipsters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: It's a really obscure number. You probably wouldn't have heard of it.

Dude, he is one of the best players on our team at the crucial nose tackle position. If he is getting a medical scholly I can promise you it is not to make room. We need him.

Hate it for the Kid, did he contribute this year? Does Alabama use Dr. Andrews?
Posted on 1/25/11 at 8:53 pm to superman
When he's been healthy, he's been very good. The thing is, he's never been truly healthy since arriving at Alabama. I'm sure we'll hear the usual "you cut him" cracks, but Murphy has struggled with both knees for some time.

He played a little this year. Definitely would have factored in for next year. Like others said, this is legit, not just Saban making room

He started two games in Alabama's jumbo DL aligment.
Dr. Andrews is one of the team doctors at Alabama, just as he is for Auburn.

He started a few games, but his position rarely gets any spotlight. The 2 DE positions are vastly different.
As far as the Andrews question goes, I know that he's been conferred with before, but I don't know if he's used regularly...
