Great size. Looks lanky, but listed at 245 already. Have to wonder how much more he will fill out. Plays RB at his high school, and actually stands like a LB pre-snap. Hits holes pretty hard, but could be more explosive. Obviously he'll be a project if he's going to be playing a new position, but I certainly trust Freeze's evaluations and could be a fantastic player.

New commit. Knew there had to be one coming this weekend with the camp. Haven't heard of him but he must have performed well.
Very Bama thing to celebrate, but we got crystal balls on 247 today for Jordan Duncan, Willie Allen and Shyheim Carter.
Tre Threat, ILB from Spanish Fort, AL is announcing Thursday. Supposedly between us and Auburn. Hate competing with AU for prospects, but I think Freeze has made this kid a priority. 3-star but good size and good film. Definitely deserves a spot in this class and would be the 2nd LB. If we land him and the 2 targets from TN it would be a very solid LB class.

I wonder if the space where the Chi Psi house was will ever be utilized?

I believe they have a few years to begin building a house or their lease on the land will run up. As of now, I don't think they have the numbers to do that. It's not really enough space to do anything with, not even really enough for them to build a house.

The library idea is great. During test weeks JD WIlliams is impossible to find a spot in.
Impressive strength but Coach Jones is gonna chew him up on that technique.
Are there any JUCO players from the 14 class that might be included this year? I believe Ronald Walker is at Co-Lin and TJ Law is at EMCC. Any chance we offer them again?
I wouldn't put it past Freeze, but the blog says Jefferson would be visiting with Cowart, and I believe I heard Cece was visiting UF this weekend. I think the blogger is buying into the thin belief that Jefferson and Holland are sold on the Rebs after their visit and Byron wants to join.

Personally, I think giving the playing time Byron and Cece deserve as freshman would be tough. It's our deepest position beside WR. I just hope he goes to UF and the package deal doesn't happen.

Agreeable on Moore. As long as Leo sticks we only need to add 1 more LB anyway. Ideally that's Smith, but surely there are other options.

Yes but I think Moore is close with DeMarkus Lodge. Not sure if Moore is taking another visit, but if he does come on the January date I think it's a possibility.

I like Norton much more at OG, which I think is what he played in the UA game. He's visiting in January. If that spot is for a DT I would rather take Ross Donelly. 3 star but his film is explosive and has great size and a Stanford offer.

Just going to throw this out there, as my dream finish to this class.

CeCe Jefferson
Van Jefferson
DeMarkus Lodge
Toby Weathersby
Tim Bonner/Gabe Campbell/Ross Donnelly (1 DL basically)
Kendrick Norton
Richard More
Roquan Smith

Total shot in the dark on Smith, but I would lose it. We're in his top 5, at least during the UA game, and he will be here for the big visit weekend.
We could take 8 more commits and only sign 23. Freeze will find the room. If it's the players Whistlin named, plus 4 others, this class looks great. I don't know that 23 is the number, but I think its lower than 25. Hugh will want as much room as possible for the 2016 class.
We also just got a CB for Tim Bonner, 2015 DE from Alabama and Freeze is following him on Twitter. Current Louisville commit. Not sure what to make out of it, but I would assume we take him. I like his film, very quick off the ball. But is listed at 6-5 225 and looks kind of lanky and awkward, but his frame could fill out.
"@CoachPJackson: Messing around with Woody, Fahn, and Carlton Im going to have to order some bigger dumbbells #200s?"

Good news about Fahn. Really think he takes over the right side this year, and if he's solid then we're in a good spot.

We'll get a little deserved bashing for the things that were said by the fan base when he committed to State, but in the end they still lost out on a talented player. Hopefully there is a way he can qualify and make it on the team.
We do need Sims bad. Wonder what kind of moves will be made since we just lost out of a lot today. UGA is reporting McKenzie has signed, Sawyers to UT, and Alexander to Stanford. Sims would be a good get and if we do land Godchaux, I like it a lot. Now lets grab Dupre!
I agree Sawyers is a different type of player. But we play in a 4 man front and don't have quite the demand for a NT like Bama. And I don't see how having a fatter run-stuffer like that compliments Rob on the inside, but having such a player does add versatility.
Positive outlook for Sawyers: He's from Nashville and was committed to Vandy first. He may not like UT. Does UT really have that much room? Another DT in this class would be nice to add to the group of McDowell, Speaks and Williams but it's not necessary, we're deep enough for the moment.
We can do without Humphrey. I could be wrong, I just don't think he's worth it. However, Dupre has got to be loving the attention he's getting right now in Oxford. Mike Wallace just responded to Treadwell's tweet (the picture posted above on this page) and with the news that he's staying for some time this week, I think we've got more than a decent shot.
