frick it. We'll be awesome for at least 3 quarters. After that, who the frick knows.

It is gonna be sweet leading USC 24-10 after three quarters only to lose 48-17. We're gonna break new ground by scoring -7 points in the 4th quarter.

I'm pretty sure the 2011 Texas A&M Aggies already did that.

Curious, that guy who posted the video said that the win "kept Mizzou's dominance over Spurrier alive".

Whats that supposed to mean?

It depends on which Mizzou team shows up.

An SEC win on the road is a pretty big hill for this team at the moment. We need another shot of Mojo.

Go Tigers!

Seriously, what is our problem with the 4th quarter? Our offense can't stay on the field in the 4th and defense seems to be wearing out.

I think it will be a close, low scoring game. About like the one we played last night.

I think you're right atleast on the low scoring part. I gave us a decent chance to steal this game before the season started, mainly because of our offense. With our OL injuries, QB issues (possibly) and Clowney coming at us like a heat seeking missile, I don't have much confidence in this game.

Of course I hope I am wrong, but I see us sitting at 2-2 after this game.

I have little confidence in USCe game either.

I like the chances better if the o-line wasn't dinged up. But there were a few glaring problems with last nights game that going to create alot of hell for whoever is at QB for Mizzou. That problem is blitz pickups up the middle. If they don't get that fixed, we aint gonna have enough qb's on the roster to make it throught the year. It's the fastest way to the backfield, right up the gut.

Also, if someone does'nt knock the hell out of Yost and his crappy playcalling, were not going to have much of the only good thing we have right now and thats a defense. They had way too much playtime lastnight. We'd run the ball on a few plays maybe 3 plays max an do alright and then we'd totally lean on the passing game for the next 10 plays.

DGB. Where the hell is DGB? I'm not buying all this crap about he's still learning the playbook. Thier playbook aint that complicated. He's a reciever for gods sake! He's being used for reverses now? I don't get it. Get the kid on the field and run the thier defense in the ground if your going to pass 70% of the game. He's the #1 recruit in the nation! Good lord what has happened to Yost!!? Play the kid, maybe he'll learn something, or maybe he'll break out! He sure won't do either one on the frick'n sideline!

Last....and this one goes out to Pinkel. FIND AND RECRUIT A frick'N "PLACE KICKER"!!!!! Hell, Bama's got two of'em! Find one off the soccer team, or go down to the bar in Columbia or find one somewhere! It's inexcusable to field a place kicker that can't kick! Next is find a REAL place holder. Usually a QB. I'll admit, most of those missed field goals lastnight was a result of TJ muffing the hold. He stunk it up last night as a place holder.

Geeeeez!

As an SC fan I'm not hugely confident. Both ECU and UAB moved the ball pretty easily at times, ECU especially though the team kept shooting itself in the foot with turnovers. And since Spurrier has been at Carolina the defense has struggled with zone-read based spread offenses similar to what Mizzou seems to run. And SC's offense looked good against ECU and UAB but it remains to be seen whether they can do the same thing against real competition.

And a reference to the 2005 Independence Bowl.

As nasty as our defensive line is, we will be fine. Nobody has been able to run the ball at all. Teams can throw for as many yards as they want between the 20s but our red zone defense is incredible. We have not given up a td in the red zone.

If our OC, Jeff Spicole, does not have our fullback in there to help pass protection then he is stoned. It will help on a few plays but not all of them.

And Morse needs to stop waving at players and at least hit them once in a while.

I think we matchup with USC overall...but will not be able to match up to their defensive line. I can't imagine it will be any sort of shootout, as our defense continues to play pretty well.

But unless we steal some points on offense, or Murphy runs back a couple of punts...I really don't see how we're going to score.

If Berkstresser plays...may as well just chalk it up and get ready for Central Florida. (Not that I don't think he'll be solid in the future or he didn't do fine last night...but struggling with ASU at home is one thing...SEC road games are another.)

I just hope we keep it close at this point.
