Probably most surprising on that list is PFF doesnt see a bad starting QB in the SEC.

Most of their games thus far have been against inferior teams so not too surprising.

He made some critical errors in the end of that BYU game for instance.

Yeah, he had an uncharacteristic interception in that game, but his shanked punts, holding penalties and piss poor play call on 4th and 1 are inexcusable for him. He needs to correct that. His 8 penalties at crucial times hurt the team and he should have to sit out the next game.

71 percent with new receivers and a terrible offensive line seems to be pretty good.

I heard the other day that our offense averages over 30 points a game with KJ and 13 points without him. I’d say he’s pretty important to the team.

Weigman ... Dude is a stud and future 1st rounder. We finally have the "it factor" QB again.
... the Miami Hurricanes - not the Miami Dolphins - have already debunked your 'claim' - 22 incomplete passes and 2 ints - 15 point loss

Auburn this weekend will only reaffirm it -

Aggy QB did have great games against New Mexico and Monroe - which as we all know is a direct indicator of future NFL success -

I struggled with that one, but Rattler cost his team in the 2nd half of Georgia

this is a hot take for sure.

I will never understand the hate that rattler gets. He lost his job at OU while completing 74% of his passes. He also lost it to a heisman winner. Last season started out rough, but that OC was trash. We are seeing how bad Satt is at Nebraska right now, and how he handles QB's. This season Rattler has been unreal for us. He has very little time, and has probably completed more throws while being hit than any other QB on this list. He threw 2 late ints vs UGA on long downs. UGA was able to get pressure with 3 or 4 coming at him and drop people into coverage, thats not on Spencer.

Weigman has only played in eight CFB games, his OL is not good, and he's incredibly accurate anyway. The only thing that derails Weigman is a medical problem like concussions.

He wasn't remotely the problem against Miami. That is on Durkin and his terrible defensive strategy

here's another QB that fits that description perfectly -

he's got two top 5 wins and was up 11 over #1 on the road last week at the half even after his All-SEC WR left the game after scoring an early 1Q TD -

Weigman is certainly a Top 3 SEC QB. And right now, he is a Top 3 national QB

He wouldn't even be top 3 in the pac.

Weigman is the only reason that A&M has a shot at a "decent" season.

Have you watched Milroe play? I know the O line has not helped any of the QB’s Bama has played but Milroe is a turnover machine. He has 2ints on the year but he has threw some balls that should have been picked off but wasn’t for whatever reason.

Competition. Mertz has played two ranked teams yet their numbers are very comparable.

I'm interested to see where it plays out.
Stetson Bennetts QB efficiency against ranked opponents in 2022 was 190.99.
His QB efficiency against unranked opponents was 136.86.

Georgia has a tendency to "work on Georgia" when we play teams with huge talent deficiencies.
We then put that experience and those reps to work against better competition.

Carson Beck hasn't played a team with a winning FBS record yet. QB efficiency is 155.32 against his 2 FBS opponents thus far.

Having only watched the Miami game, I’d agree. He’s legit.

Looking back to the preseason SEC QB rankings

This years QB debate is mostly a lot of “what ifs” to this point…

Weigman & Rattler have played well despite bad OL’s. How well would they look with a clean pocket?

Milroe made some early mistakes, but wasn’t given the chance to work through them. How much better would he look if he wasn’t on the carousel?

Will Rogers is being asked to run a whole new system which doesn’t suite his strengths. How much better would he be if Leach was around?

The list goes on, but you get the point. Weird season so far for QB evals in the SEC.

All without his #1 TE for all games, one starting wide receiver for all games, his main #1 WR for 2 games, and a struggling running game and OL(outside of his 136 yard performance last week)

Would not trade Dart for anyone right now. Dude is on fire.

I can’t understand why you’d take a team full of players recruited and taught specifically to play a unique style of football and then completely throw that entire way of doing things in the trash can without expecting it to be a dumpster fire.
Ego. Arnett is a dullard.
