Texas fired their DC despite him holding A&M and OU to a combined 23 points over a two year span.

A&M just promoted a guy who never called plays to OC. Texas fired a proven stud DC to take a shot on someone with a higher ceiling. Seems like these two programs are operation on completely different levels.

Behavior of some sooner and Aggie fans is pretty pathetic it’s like they’ve never made the playoffs before…. Oh wait

Congrats on being top 12, quite the accomplishment… at least OU had to beat someone with a pulse along the way

Texas still kicked your teams heads in and same team coming back next year. Deal with it.

Should at least expect sooner fans to be better than moral victory cucks… Aggies well that’s who’s they are

They are still playing for something that matters, while your post and team have nothing more than moral victories.

No offense, but it has been 20 years since Texas won a title, and it was 1970 before that, so if you are less than 55 years old it was once in a lifetime for you, too.

A&M could play for the championship, win by 4 scores....and most of the responses on this board would be...."the league was down this year, you still suck ". Never change.

Dont forget Elmo just hired some dude named Lyle Hemphill to be his DC LOL. He was a Sr assistant and then got promoted to DC.

Of course longhorns are like what CFP?.... Firing DC and hiring Boom will pacify the donors and make the side taint video go away, but the problem is Sark has fired exactly the wrong Coach. This move may doom Sark.

Hilarious narrative.....

K has had your defense at the top as it is, and you think Muschamp will actually improve on that? The best you can hope for is he can maintain what K was already accomplishing because K was propping up your entire program.

For a program that hasn't won anything of significance since before WW2, aTm posters are insufferable.

Didn't that DC just hold you guys to 17 points to prevent you from reaching your first SEC title game? Thirteen seasons and no appearances.

He can come to UGA and be Co-DC or be a high analyst for us! I thought he was solid AF.

He has done a great job at Texas. I really don't understand not retaining Coach K.

The one they fired? He had our number. What an incredibly idiotic move by the horns as they stew at home watching all of their rivals play in the playoffs.

I’m loving it!

Brilliant stuff, calling Mike Elko "Elmo.”
The intellectual, toddler nickname firepower pouring out of Austin these days is the height of Longhorn wit.

Despite how OU couldn't throw the ball on Texas (hasn't been able to in 2 years), most teams were able to. Florida torched us, State and Kentucky threw the ball all over us. Vandy rallied down 21 points by simply passing the ball. Arkansas drop 350 threw the air on us and scored 37 points.

Texas' last 5 games opponents scored
State: 38
Vandy:31
Georgia: 35
Arkansas:37
A&M: 17

Considering OU only scored 6 points against Texas, maybe they should think about a change.

Trust me, that's not going to change with Wiggins calling your offense.

You're getting very close to figuring out the real issue as to why whorn has been beating Oklahoma.

Keep at it.....
