How are you going to go from firing the coach, to literally saying you didn’t fire the coach, to publicly trying to fire the coach with cause, AND then, eventually, publicly firing the coach without cause? LSU, what is happening?!

There’s $53 million PER YEAR coming into LSU Athletics. BK’s MAXIMUM buyout is $53 mill , paid out over the next 6 years.
$9 mil a year buyout, then $$13 mil a year to Kiffin should he come to LSU - equals $22 mil a year.
Not even half the annual $53 million coming in.
This is all with no donor money, no tax dollars, just the TV contract easily pays all this.
THAT’S why coach salaries keep going up - because the money’s there for all SEC schools to spend.
