LSU didn’t try to weasel out of anything. They just formally fired him the other day. BK filed a lawsuit before the official termination seeking to know how he was being fired. LSU never filed anything official concerning “for cause”.

LSU was paying him until they officially fired him. BK now has to work, settle, or forfeit the buyout if he doesn’t actively seek employment.

Future coaches take note: LSU doesn’t honor contracts.

Sounds like they are.

They're paying the buyout. Which is part of the contract.

Yeah after they were sued.

Yeah well seeking employment is going to be significantly more difficult with the stuff that has been leaking from LSU.

Holy moly A&M whipping them in that night game at death valley made them go all loco. Watching all this is pure greatness.

They’ve all been 100% blind to all of this.

LSU tried to play CBK.

In turn, LSU got played by Sexton (with Kiffin as the weapon).

Keith Carter gets to destroy a rival program and permanent opponent.

The gasoline has doused the wood now. Let it all burn.

LSU realized they would lose in court AND look like fools. If I am a future coach though I am worried given the shenanigans it appeared they tried to pull.

This is strange, especially considering that wadewilson told us:

The GDP of LA is larger than Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and almost double that of Mississippi. When you break it down to per capita the numbers are even better for LA.

And LSU is the only big time player in the state.

And yet, LSU is historically a tier 2 football power.

The state of the State of Louisiana:

-Median household income 4th lowest of the 50 states at $50,935 in 2025.
-Poverty rate second highest in USA.
-GDP per capita ranked 44th in per capita personal income for 2024.
-2025 study ranked Louisiana 46th best state economy out of 50 states.
-4th lowest for high school diplomas.

This is not a knock against the people of Louisiana. These same facts would probably be similar in the State of Texas and you have the same idiots in Texas doing the same thing at Texas A&M and Texas. ( See $77,000,000 buy out for Jimbo and $27,000,000 buy outs for Mack, Charlie and Tom). I believe the people of both states and other states deserve better from these not so bright athletic directors.

That LSU Gay

Your school is about to payout $54 million to BK. If Kiffin is hired, his contract will be worth a minimum of $100 miilion. He's getting $9 million right now from Ole Miss just to be competitive. Those people are happy with being "in" games, and finishing with a winning record. If he manages to just win the conference one year, they will erect a statue of him.

If he is the next LSU HC, he will get a lot more than Ole Miss is paying now, and a very long term. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a guarantee of 8+ years.

If he doesn't live up to the stratospheric expectations that comes with a massive contract, LSU is now is now scoping out children's hospitals in Arkansas and Mississippi for the next grift because they have already drained all the ones in LA!

While it's caviar and French Duck a L'Orange for
Kelly , Scott "Money Bags" Woodward didn't do too badly
for himself. Peanuts compared to Kelly's haul , Woodward
got about $ 6-and-a-half million to go away from LSU.

A HC at any level that is hired to win and doesn't... should be fired for cause. What cause... beCAUSE you were arse.

Can't wait for the new DII or DIII level HC to be announced.
