Yet a team loaded with those less talented Ohio kids are National Champions.

You should stick to trying to beat Stanford most years. Them Nancy boy Ducks have showed time and again that they are too light in the arse to play with the big boys.

But... to answer your absurd question....

would love to see Bama play a home and home with Notre Dame, Texas, Stanford, Oregon (just to shut you up), Ohio State, and Fla State.

For LSU? Play each of these in home/away and repeat:

FSU - Jimbo factor, LSU/FSU played some back when Bowden was getting them back on track, time to resume this
USC - LSU and USC had an extraordinary home/away series back in the 70s/80s they need to resume in light of both being back on top right now
Texas - More exposure in Texas? Yes, please
tOSU - any chance at making Meyer break down is worth a potential L
Notre Dame - come on. have to beat these guys after that turd in the bowl game. ND now holds a one game lead in the all time series.

Red McCombs is one of their biggest donors and is fairly well known for being "uncomfortable" with people who have better perma-tans than him.

Here was his initial reaction to hiring Strong

quote:
"I think the whole thing is a bit sideways," McCombs said via ESPN.com. "I don't have any doubt that Charlie is a fine coach. I think he would make a great position coach, maybe a coordinator.

"But I don't believe [he belongs at] what should be one of the three most powerful university programs in the world right now at UT-Austin. I don't think it adds up."

Really of the dumbest things a booster has said in a while. "He'd make a great position coach" after the guy had made L'ville into a top 15 level program.

I was shocked when that was said honestly

bama dont do home-n-home with anybody except sec opponents anymore. one neutral site and 3 cupcakes is the standard ooc schedule for my beloved tide nowadays, sad sad sad, downright shameful. but the powers that be love like this.

McCombs didn't mention race, and was just pissed he scared Saban off.

Not sure if serious. What do you expect him to say? I don't want that **** coaching at Texas? Jesus Christ

You guys aren't relevant yet. "Down years" could be for another three, even with the bricks

No, I'm not necessarily saying he isn't a racist, but why should the burden of proof be on me to prove that the dude ISN'T racist? What proof do others have that he is?

FSU, USC, UT, GaTech

UT is scheduled, but we will see if it sticks.

I really wanted the Wisconsin matchup to be in BR and Madison.

I'll add Mizzou. With the sec schedule, seems like I'll be dead before we play our 2 games.

Oklahoma: Just to wipe out the 1-3 head to head record and it's unfair that the Sooners got the home and home with Bama when they were down.

Utah: Payback for the Sugar Bowl debacle.

Texas: Tired of them whining about the McCoy injury, improve the awful head to head record against them plus it would also help recruiting in Texas.

Nebraska: No hatred. I just like their program. It would be cool to see Bama play in Lincoln.

Oregon: Never played them so it would be nice to play them just one time.

I'd like the Cats to start an annual series with OSU. You could play it in Paul Brown stadium with each team getting half the tickets
