It didn't take a genius to see that they wouldn't be expelled after they caved and kicked the two guys they wanted on their team off the team.

Also, LSU isn't out of the woods on all of this yet, guys. There is still the LoIC issue and also the legal question as to whether or not a state court can tell the SEC how to govern itself. The legal case will probably be narrowed moving forward, but LSU can still expect some sort of punishment from all of this unnecessary tomfoolery they put the league through.

My suggestion is stop while you are ahead. "tomfoolery" isn't in the rules. LSU broke no rules... they might have kicked sand in Sankey's face. LSU added 2other people to the 105 man roster precluding them from adding the 2 NFL players in question. It is possible here both sides backed down, but to say LSU owned the SEC is delusional. They backed down on playing the players in question. That isn't owning anyone

How can there be LOIC when LSU did not break rules, communicated to the SEC that they would not break rules then proved it again when eliminating the players in question from the roster.
And, Rouse’s letter which is not disputed by the SEC says the SEC knew all of this BEFORE adding LOIC to the lawsuit.
