Honestly, we are in better shape than we've been but it'll be a step back from this year. Not many Burrows out there. For the first time in a long time, we have gotten our backup some playing time before they were leaned on. In the past, every game went down to the wire so we could not get the backup any PT.

Brennan will be a bit of a downgrade, but LSU's RBs will be better with everyone returning.
There's just no way to know this for sure. He could come out and light it up from the get go. He's not Joe but he could morph into a slightly watered down Joe 2.0.

Why do A&M users create threads about any SEC team but their own?
Because deep down thy know that they are a second tier program and always will be. Aggy jokes don’t write themselves.

I would rather think about that next year too depressing thinking about now when we have a lot to accomplish yet to come!

Bend over. Brennan will be driving.

Really depends on how many juniors return on the offensive line. We’ll be fine at QB, although there’s no way we won’t take a step back. Overall our roster will be weaker, but it will really get stronger the following years.

Has there ever been back to back Heismans from one school?

Yes.. Just recently Oklahoma (Baker Mayfield '17 & Kylar Murrary '18), the 4th school to do so. The others were Ohio State (Archie Griffin in 1974 and '75), Army (Felix "Doc" Blanchard and Glenn Davis in 1945 and '46) and Yale (Larry Kelley and Clinton Frank in 1936 and '37).

LSU is LSU. Not some poser.
We’ll be fine.
We’ll be fine.

LSU has to get better defensively, because this year has been bad at times. Games vs Texas, Bama and Ole Miss have been bad defensively imo

Everybody back for the most part. Brennan has a stronger arm Burrow runs better.

Oh, and we also brought about a 40% increase in eyeballs and TVs when the SEC network extended its footprint to Texas. So, just cash your check and shut up.
The SEC Network didn’t exist until A&M’s third year in the SEC.

Brennan throws a nice ball. Stronger arm than Burrow. Get him making the right reads, and he'll be a special player in his own right. Excited about the potential there.

Not what I’ve been told by a former player who’s around the team a lot. He says that King will be the starter if he transfers here.

VolTiger says we're not going after King.

Doesn’t matter. Either way, the issue is having a school in the state. If we had not been here, there would have been 27% fewer people in the footprint. Just us being here added 40% to the population of the SEC’s footprint without us.
