1. Any ranking of any kind that ranks Auburn ahead of LSU is pure unadulterated garbage. LSU is clearly better than AU this season. (I am a Bruce Pearl fan, so don't accuse me of being anti-AU MBB.)

2. UK and LSU have the same overall record at this point. UK may well have played a harder schedule than LSU, but, when we played head-to-head at Rupp last week, LSU was the better team, IMO.

Your team just beat the #1 team in the country. Let's not let the LSU loss melt last a whole week.

Some years, Kentucky won't be the best team in the SEC, and that's okay.

Your incessant quest for validation of your favorite school's basketball program is just sad.

Enjoy your win over UT. They'll return the favor soon, so make the most of it while you can.

Yeah, doubt Cats win in Knoxville. When LSU beats TN, should wrap title up for us.

Ole Miss put the book out on beating us.

1. Defend the 3 point line like it is the paint. Run us off the line constantly.

2. Bleed the shot clock down

They also made their threes.

You can’t fill up your schedule with middling teams to up your opponent’s average KenPom and think that means anything
what does this even mean. wade has shown he understands rolling averages and schedules accordingly

You played two quality opponents
again, this is vague.

lsu ooc sos on cbs - 6
ooc sos on kenpom - 101
sos on kpi - 30
sos on bpi - 49
ooc sos on warrennolan - 9

lsu's schedule is not "trash." that's a stupid comment

My statement was correct
no it wasn't. it was stupid

ust that your non-con schedule was weak. It was.

Your link shows this...

Kentucky: #16 non con rank, 0.5729 sos, 0.6458 rpi

LSU: #9 non con rank, 0.5817 sos, 0.6472 rpi

This isn't going to stop LSU from winning the SEC. DWI.

Except for the fact that there are better teams - according to this OP - than LSU...

Good thing we’ve already beaten two of the teams ranked higher than us and the only other team left on the schedule (that is higher) we have at home and will either be a pick um or LSU will be slightly favored. But yea your right—now that I’ve seen kenpom I hang my head in shame because according to these metrics we have no shot.

Noted.

I think LSU is a solid team. I still think y’all have issues on defense at times.

LSU’s SOS isn’t gonna slide much at all— we have Tennessee, Florida twice, and at Bama.

I agree with you 100%. I want our defense to show up and be more physical like when we played y’all the other night.

but #9 is "trash". this isn't golf where the lower number is best. lsu is 8 from the bottom

honestly, you should rethink your assessments. lsu isn't "solid." lsu is elbowing their way into elite. lsu's resume is almost as good any in the country
