Happened the other day, but I'm talking about the last time before that. I have no idea, which is why I'm asking.

My guess would be the Southern Cal glory days from about 20 years ago.

SEC has to win it this year. I don't even care who does it.

ok not Oklahoma...but everyone else I'd be ok with. A baseball and fb NC in Norman would be too much to bear.

Looks like 2015 was unanimous for Ohio State #1 in the preseason. And the last time before that looks like 1989 preseason poll didn’t have a first place vote for an SEC Team. Including the new comers to the SEC.

How has Texas not won a natty in the NIL era? Texas was built for this.

1. You realize the "NIL Era" is only a few years old right? It's not like this system has been in place for 20 years. We are in what? year 5 of NIL now?
2. Sark is simply not a championship level coach. All the highly skilled players we can get can't change that inconvenient fact.

You want the B1G to win it again? I sure don't. You do you.

why would I give the slightest shite? I don't cheer for conferences.

I want my school to win. If they don't, I sure don't want all of our biggest annual competitors to win instead.

eta: think about the level of retardation of a UGA fan actively cheering and rooting their arse off for bama or florida or tennessee to win a natty just because they happen to be in the same collection of member schools as us.

It’s mostly a battle cry for the have nots and tv networks. Fans of schools that aren’t playing for titles are still eyeballs(dollar signs). Keeping those fans engaged until Jan while there team checked out in October is about profit.
