to add to your op, overall last place in the same time frame. if same conference record, head to head is counted first, then overall to determine ties

Vandy, 93,95,96,97,01,02,03,04,09,14

Ole Miss finished last in 1996 - Arkansas beat them.

All 3 were tied for 4th AKA last in the West. How convenient you left out those two.

FWIW that was the only season Mullen has ever finished dead last even though he is picked last almost every year by the media, Athlon, and Lindys.

None of this matters. Because Dan Mullen and Nick Saban are the only coaches that have been on the job more than 5 years all coaches get a pass in the first year so you should adjust it for last place finishes since the coach has started coaching their team... So take all your info and then repost under those guidelines

Same thing happened in 08 also. State, Auburn, and Arkansas all finished at 2-6 and split with one another.
