I reading OP wrong or do we not have the same amount of last place finishes as Auburn does?

What does have to do with the east? USC has also finished last in the overall conference several times since 92, something auburn has never done...

Well yes they are bad but not nearly USC/vandy/UK bad in the east/sec.

FIFY ... but credit for your spin effort, however sad the attempt was.

Last is last .... are you really trying to quantify and/or qualify degrees of last?

Care to check the head to head records of SC vs Ole Miss and MSU or are you spinning too fast to differentiate at the moment?

Not really but nice try. 1 win is more than zero Kind of hysterical with the spin comment, considering your fify

Last in the east is clearly worse based on history. Sorry this hurts your feelings.

Do you care to check your record vs the west or auburn...

how did Ray Goof not finish last 1 year?

Probably because he had guys like Zeier, Hearst and Davis to bail his dumbass out. If he was even remotely competent, UGA probably wins the natty in 1992

Vandy...

Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but since you brought them up, what's Auburn's excuse for their .500 record against them?

We didn't really play them from 1950 on. 14-2 in the last 65 years. They actually used to be half way decent in the first 30 years of The 1900s. We simply don't play them enough

Vandy has been an automatic win for the east. It's hard to be last when the worst team of the last 25 years is in your division.

Arkansas - 2014, 2013, 1997, 1996

Arkansas beat Alabama in 1997 and beat Ole Miss in 1996 for the tie breaker. Meaning Arkansas didn't technically finish last in those seasons.

I agree with you.

Even in those years, Goff's UGA teams still had trouble separating from Vandy in the SEC and that's with two Super Bowl MVPs on offense.

I'm amazed that Bama was ever a last place team, much less twice! Was that the Mike Shula era?

I think Alabama finished last in the division in the following years:

2005 0-2 SEC record
2006 0-7 SEC record
2007 2-6 SEC record

Surprisingly in 07 ole miss was worse. And the games didn't turn into losses in all seasons.

Auburn has 3, Bama has 2(OP forgot '97), big deal

Both of Bama's belong to Mr. Mike Dubose.

Auburn has two in the past 5 seasons, one of which belongs to your current coach.

FWIW SEC rules dictate that conference record is all that matters in terms of standing. Head to head only matters for seeding in some sports and who goes to the SECCG in football.

So, Mizzou gets to join us at the bottom of 2015 with their 1-7 record.

So, that's 2 straight last place finishes for football, 3 straight now for basketball, and are going for their 2nd straight in baseball.

Good God Mizzou... when was the last time you didn't finish last in one of those 3 sports?

Whole conference needs to thank god for Vandy so you have padded GPA's in school and a job when you get out of school.
