Every conference does that.

The SEC does it more often, because they win national championships more often.

Vandy and Arkansas were great yesterday. Oklahoma and A&M lost close games. The only embarrassment has been Tennessee, and probably the SEC should forbid that the Vols go to post season next year whatever their record.

Be Alabama and beat Vandy and OU. Then Tennessee is not in position to embarrass themselves in Ohio.

Upvote for you being retarded.

The SEC being down doesn’t mean Georgia isn’t a good team. Georgia is a good team.

That doesn’t change the fact that the conference is overall down.

They don't really show us how good a team in a bowl was in the season that is ending.

But they do give us indicators of how well a coach is relating to their players (getting them to play in the bowl), how well he's building the depth of the team (as backups play due to opt outs) and give us some information on the talent coming back the following year.

Indicators that last about a week, and then every player marches in and says “Coach, gimme this or I’m leaving for $200 more”

So, that “relating to the players” is like a fart in the wind.

No, it’s very much an SEC thing specific to southern states who take and “us against the world” mentality. Probably a civil war holdover.

The same shite happens every year without fail in SEC World. SEC takes some embarrassing losses in Week 1 and Week 2. LSU always volunteers to go first. "This is looking like a down year in the SEC." By the middle of October, it's "the SEC is a gauntlet and every team in the conference is the frigging '85 Chicago Bears." SEC starts losing bowl games and "this was a down year in the SEC."

A lot of you still aren’t getting it. The results we are seeing does not mean the SEC isn’t still the “strongest” conference top to bottom, I don’t think anyone would argue against that. The question is how MUCH stronger is the SEC than other conferences.

A 1 loss SEC team should definitely get a playoff spot over a 1 loss team from another conference IMO. And in most cases I think a 2 loss SEC team should get a playoff spot over a 1 loss team from another P4 conference. But the playoff committee is getting flak for not putting in 3 loss SEC teams over 1 loss P4 teams. That is a bridge too far in IMO and would be bad for the sport as a whole.

I hear next year is going to be their year, though.

It's because the SEC has been circle jerking for 20 years acting like if one team wins the national title it makes the entire conference a winner

That's bullshite.

The SEC has owned the B1G in all bowls for 20 years or more. 30 years.

National Championships are one thing. The SEC has had what, six or seven different teams win national championships in the past 30 years ... some of them multiple times. But, in addition, the SEC has absolutely dominated the B1G in bowl games.

SC alone is 2-0 against your suckeyes, 2-0 vs Michigan, 1-0 vs Nebraska, 1-0 vs Wisconsin and 0-1 vs Iowa. That's 7-1 vs the B1G ... and not a single national championship.

If anything great SEC teams were omitted from national championship contention exactly because this is the SEC.

So you can leave your B1G bullshite at the door and take it to the B1G Rant.

Our Southern Culture dictates and demands Southern Pride. Something no northeasterner, no left coasters and few Midwesterners are able to comprehend.

Doesn’t change the fact that you’ve been eating the cracker for UGA LSU Bama and UF because they are good

Nice Spin Job.

SEC is 0-2 vs The Big Ten,
Top 10 Tennessee was absolutely obliterated by Ohio State in Playoffs.
USC was 4-5 vs the Big Ten, but managed to go 2-0 vs the SEC's LSU &
aTm.
Oklahoma is supposed to be a Blue Blood & they couldn't even beat a Military Academy.
But hey, Florida beat Tulane & Arkansas beat whoever the F they played, so it's all good.
The fact that Florida sucks so bad that they were playing Tulane is yet another indicator of just how bad is the SEC.

What makes it worse is that B1G fans use it against us on social media. Hell, even Navy fans are bragging about their win over an SEC opponent. That is telling. It tells us how we are viewed, as a conference, and it tells us how badly we are despised as a conference as well.

This is it.

Here, let me post it again for you lady ... take a big ole bite of this cracker.

SC alone, in the SEC, is 2-0 against your suckeyes, 2-0 vs Michigan, 1-0 vs Nebraska, 1-0 vs Wisconsin and 0-1 vs Iowa. That's 7-1 vs your B1G.

That has zip zero ziltch to do with UGA's, LSU's or Bama's wins.

That's SC owning the B1G ... which completely trashes your bullshite claim that the SEC dickrides the MNC/BCS winners.

Your argument is bullshite, dumbass. It's feminine copium. It's pathetic. The SEC, as a whole, owns the B1G.

Collectively and historically the SEC owns the B1G on the field and in your little heads, 24/7/365. It has nothing to do with the X number of national championships won by the SEC ... that's just the icing on the cake.

Here's an absolute fact. The B1G is a very distant second to the SEC as a college sports league overall. Our athletes are superior, our fans are superior, our facilities are superior and our women are far more attractive. No one can argue that fact. It's not even close.

So your argument is complete and total bullshite. The B1G lives for the very rare win against SEC competition in any sport.

Is the SEC supposed to win all the bowl games? Asking for a friend. Tennessee should have lost, TAM should have won, and Oklahoma should have lost. Only lost 1 game that should have been won.

Does it not when multiple teams win it? How many different big 10 teams have won it since 2000? 2. How many SEC? 5. and Meechigan cheat to win last year. All time bowl record sec vs Big 10, SEC 68 wins, Big 10 36 wins. LOL

Why are you on an SEC board?

You have an account on the MAC Rant, ACC Rant?

You know why you’re here and it's not because we have one good team.
