I think that’s probably true for some of the calls in that game and many games.
But the calls were correct in LSU-Auburn, I’ve watched and rewatched many times and there were no “phantom” calls ... every call against both sides were correct per the rules.
To say “that’s not a penalty” would be incorrect. There is merit in the “that may be a penalty but I don’t like it being called right there”
