I mean, he's been a coach since 1997. At what point do you not get burnt out?

If they do, they will have to find a reason to fire him for cause and while it may exist, I think it's pretty unlikely to do it that quickly.

If he loses 4-5 this year and 4-5 next year, then maybe you see those wheels start turning. But we're a long ways from that. LSU is a talented team and can certainly go 10-2 this year.

He also hasn't had that jaw dropper yet. While Kentucky was unexpected, they're also 5-1 and are firmly in the playoff hunt halfway through October.

LSU isn't remotely close to firing LK. Anyone who thinks so is retarded.

That's a wild opinion.

Given Kiffin's history, I dont see him staying at LSU for the entire contract. IMO, I think you see him go back to the NFL within 4 years.

And yet you felt the need to troll badly enough that you made the post.

I dont see him staying in the same state if he bolts. When things get tough he runs away. He doesnt stay around long enough to endure the pressure of bad press.

The Tennessee to USC move falls under this category, but with LSU being permanent opponents of Ole Miss, he kind of did the opposite this time around. The UCLA, Penn St., and Michigan jobs were open so he had plenty of opportunity to get far away from the SEC if he wanted.

Damn....I want to be that rich....I would have a private jet, 3 stripper maids, 2 porsche. a lambo, Ram 3500, a limo, a mansion on a beach.

I would be broke within 6 months, but I would have a great time.

well if he left on his own LSU doesn't owe him anything. but I'm willing to bet you any money that he will still be at LSU next season. so come on big talker. put your money where your mouth is!

They can’t afford to can him, not without
cause anyway.

That’s all y’all think about. It must be exhausting knowing if you don’t win a championship then it was all a failure. Enjoy the game. Y’all are obsessed with trying to win a championship. So what if you do win it? What does it bring to you? Absolutely nothing

This board is hilarious. Nobody in BR is talking about firing Lane, this is all generated from the SEC rant.

I don't think the NFL will touch him. He lobbied hard for the Miami Dolphins job and didn't get anywhere close to being offered.
