Kiffin basically begged for the LSU job in 2021, the Auburn job in 2022, and pretty much any decent SEC job that came open in between. Dude couldn’t get out of Oxford fast enough.

Please, Bama would trade coaches in an absolute heartbeat if they could.
Lane has done more at Ole Miss and is the reason they got to CFP Semi if we're being authentically honest. Bama hasn't done that under Deboer. Ole Miss was pulling 20th to 25th ranked classes in recruiting at beginning of Kiffin's tenure. Deboer inherited 4 straight top 3 classes in the country when he took over. Deboer puts too much value into high school recruits verse proven transfers.

LSU is 1-3 against Alabama in the NIL era.
LSU has finished unranked the last two seasons and has zero top 10 finishes in the NIL era.
