I suspect he has regrets about how it played out.

You're still wrong. Bottom line. 1 more to make title game. 2 to win it. You could have just edited

The decision was never about 1 year. Its about winning multi nattys.

Your daddy Lane already gave you an answer. He said I’m leaving for the bigger job that can win CONSISTENTLY…….CONSISTENT. OM stumbling into one this year wouldn’t make him think otherwise

It would be hilarious to leave for LSU so he "can easily win a championship" and then the team he built and left wins it in his absence.
He didn’t leave and come to LSU to easily win championships. He came to LSU to be able to be in contention to make a run more often than what he would be able to do at OL Miss. I know sure he felt he could win it all THIS YEAR, if he stayed but who knows after that. He theoretically could turn LSU into a dynasty like Saban did at Bama or at very least always be in contention like Kirby with Georgia. He couldn’t do either at Miss.

Pete frickin Golding has more playoff wins than Kiffin. Seems like he made a similar move when he left Tennessee for USC. He thought he could win more at USC. How’d that work out?

It worked probably better than staying at tenn unless you think everybody after him balled out of control. Also let’s check Pete goldschlager after he’s been there without lane’s team.

Kiffin doesn’t have the work ethic to turn LSU into a dynasty. He’ll win some games, but he’ll never have anything close to what Saban built or what Kirby has. Yall are setting yourselves up for major disappointment.

He is very rich. Probably doing yoga with his wife and a few other women and not giving a shite. That's what I would be doing.
