More common than you think. Iranian grad students are at UL and LSU as well. I met some last year in Lafayette and they wanted to work for NASA after college.

It is happening in red states, just not hitting the news. Also, they normally work as “subs” under a different company that the construction company hires but yes the companies need to be targeted too.

Bullmastiff, German Shepard, Lab, or a rescue mutt.
Our “lab” we rescued from the pound is solid black and looks and acts like a small black lab but definitely has some other breeds. Loving with family and friends but very protective once outside our house especially with other animals. The vet just calls her a black dog, lol.
I’m partial to rescues and recommend trying that route. You can bring the dog home and meet the family for a day or two before committing as well.
Remember every breed has certain traits but all dogs are different.
