Yeah, I wish that Ole Miss folks wouldn't take out their hatred of her father on her. That's out of bounds, in my opinion.

That being said…she has that somewhat new age on social media way of talking that women do now. Hard to describe, but you know it when you hear it.
It is intolerable.

Ole Miss has problems.
This and that Mary Kate Cornett story is just fricking gross and everything wrong with modern society. These are real people’s lives you are messing with for a quick chuckle or an upvote on the internet

Lane absolutely refused to play Bentley in 2024.....in fact, he started at 4th string WR at running back against Florida while Bentley sat on the bench......a game in which we lost....has to be a reason why Lane would not play him

ETA: in 2023 Bentley had 7.1 carries a game. In 2024 he had 6.7 carries a game….

Exactly. Wasn’t there another ole miss girl where rumors and social media made her quit up there? At some point those students will have daughters and would want to kill whoever says those things about their kids.

The only reason I can think of as to how a player lands in the doghouse is said player screwing the coach's daughter. No other logical explanation. Even better, lets drag a girl into the situation and smear her name because you didn't like a coaching decision her dad made.

A) agree with Landry that the rumor is very salacious and really not necessary to keep airing out
B) If it’s all false then why did Lane keep Bentley on the bench. He was many times better than any of our other running backs that year. It made zero sense unless he was just trying to tank

Bentley’s usage in 2024 was almost identical to 2023
