Honestly the dwags are scared because they know that if they lose to VOLS, their baby-shite soft schedule means they’re not getting into the playoffs this year.

Herbstreit pretty much said as much in the quote in the OP. Why could UT beat UGA? Hooker. Why could UGA beat UT? Everything else.

Tennessee isn't either. They average over 200 ypg rushing as well (more than UGA)

Yeah, you are. Tennessee rushes for 4.6 yards per carry. UGA is at 5.6. You have 43 yards more rushing on 61 more carries. Your running game is average. The best part of it... is Hendon Hooker.
Despite having an extremely athletic and mobile QB... UT is only 42nd in fewest sack yards allowed. UGA is 17th by comparison.
Those two combined shows that the UT OL is pretty average.
WR's are always dependent on QB play. UGA and UT both have had excellent WR with average QB's who didn't do much in past years.
Hooker is what makes UT's offense dangerous. Without him it's not.

But that wasn't the Rant narrative on the 2021 UGA Bulldawgs.
Tennessee fans especially still hold that UGA won despite Stetson (defense, OL, Brock Bowers, etc..)

UGA’s success is dependent upon different things than UT. They have a completely different scheme. This doesn’t mean they’re better. Not even sure why that matters unless you’re expecting Hooker to get hurt between now and your game. We’ll find out soon enough, but to say they’re only good because of Hooker is just inaccurate and lazy to say

Vol posters need to realize if they drop a game and do not end up in Atlanta they will not be in the playoffs either.

At the rate of how things are going in other conference I am not sure 2 SEC teams will get in the playoffs. Any team in the SEC that does not make the SECCG will not play in the playoffs.
