It was a SHORT drive back to BR from NOLA last night. ALL those assistants Kiffin LOANED to om are working their tails off this morning for the tigers securing new portal dudes for LSU.

Worst case scenario for LK and LSU going on right now

Not really. At most it will set the rebuild back a bit, but ling term it won't matter.

Worst case would be for Kiffin to be found in the midst of 2-3 dead hookers with a nose full of blow.

Not stupid. I'm not crying about it. We knew what we were getting into when we stole a coach from a team in the middle of a playoff run. Don't want to hear any bitching about how this hurts LSU because you knew this might happen when y'all cheered the hiring of Kiffin.

Well said.

LSU and many of its fans had no qualms about “inconveniencing” Ole Miss.

That’s the nature of the beast, they’d chuckle.

Turnabout is fair play. LSU and many of its fans shouldn’t have too many gripes about Ole Miss’ current post-season success potentially “inconveniencing” LSU.

It’s the nature of the beast.

Read it on the internet. It has to be true. Usually the leadership council speaks for the team. There been plenty plenty stories about Kiffin since he chose LU that weren't 100% accurate.

Because the optics of a coaching staff bailing on a championship-caliber team mid season and then mid playoff run is much better?

It's not ideal for Kiffin and LSU but the desperation to escape Oxford is an order of magnitude worse.

Win or not don't matter. Kiffin and that offensive staff will all be in BR FULL time shortly. How many points you think rebs score with a bunch of analyst calling the shots last night?

This just gives Kiffin's offensive staff EXPERIENCE in coaching in BIG time playoff games. That will payoff for LSU in the future.

How about Kiffin getting zero experience by not coaching the Ole Miss team during the playoffs.

I 100% believe the players when they say that they told Kiffin to FO.
I don't doubt that but who thought Ole Miss would get this far? Sooner or later is LSU not going to demand their "loaned" coaches get to work in Baton Rouge? This is an important time of the year to be full staff.

Acting magnanimous is easy when there isn’t a cost. We’ll see if LSU continues their “help”

Most LSU fans on here were too stupid to realize the possible implications of OM continuing to win.
They were stupid and thought we just wouldn’t win. Like Kiffin’s dumbass. They legitimately thought this wasnt going to possibly happen

Kiffin and lsu can probably demand it of the other guys, but Weiss and smith have leverage because they can go out and gets jobs anywhere if kiffin tried to say you're staying here or you're fired

But McDonald, Smith, Cox, and some of the analysts were originally considering being done after the sugar bowl no matter what. I think actually winning the sugar bowl has made this way more interesting.

If I were them I’d tell Kiffin I’m coaching to the end. If he don’t like it then he can find someone else. If you show that level of loyalty to a program and are part of a national championship staff, you can get a coaching job wherever

Weiss has a $7 million deal at LSU. That's what I call leverage.
