He's a good Xs and Os schemer but a lousy in game coach in terms of game management.

Watching the playcalls and game management from 2021 to 2022, something very obviously changed. We were creative and innovative in 2021. We were incredibly predictable this season. I don't think Kiffin all of the sudden did a 180 in his coaching. All evidence(IMHO) points to going from Lebby to Weiss Jr as our OC.

The multiple timeouts he took before the two point conversion attempt against State might be the worst game/clock management I’ve ever seen.

Ole Miss went 4 and 4 in conference play. They beat A&M, Auburn, Vandy, and Kentucky. Their other wins were against Tulsa, Troy, Central Ark and Georgia Tech. There is not a win against a solid opponent anywhere on their record, yet Kiffin is hailed as a savant. Color me stupefied at the reasoning of those who hold him as a good coach. Regardless of how Freeze plays out at Auburn, they dodged a bullet by NOT hiring Kiffin. I had actually hoped they WOULD hire him as I loathe Auburn and nothing would have made me happier than to watch the sure-to-be dumpster fire.

That's a lot of words just to say "I have no clue how bad of shape Ole Miss was in when Kiffin took over".

I know you disagree with what I'm saying but what did you like about the game yesterday? How many more times is he gonna put your defense in bad positions? Name a positive from yesterday's game?

FYI I'm not a kiffin hater and hope he does well at Ole Miss.

Kiffin is essentially doing the same thing at Ole Miss that he did at Southern Cal. I guess he hasn't changed as much as some thought

Kiffin is the quintessential front-runner.

He's all shite talk and Twitter edge lord when they're winning, but he goes into a shell and turns into a pouty bitch at the first sign of adversity and his teams follow suit.

Case in point -- in 2012 his USC team was the preseason #1 and derped their way to a 7-6 record, and by the end of the season his players were fighting each other in the locker room at the Sun Bowl.

When he encounters adversity, his teams realize he's an empty calories coach.

I don't like the way Kiffin recruits. Small classes of high school recruits and the rest of the guys come from the portal. I don't think it's sustainable nor will it build a program for long-term success. Also, Kiffin needs to prioritize DL and LB.
I literally said this on the recruiting board and Ole Miss fans didn’t like it.

Ole Miss beat TWO teams that ended the season with a .500 or better record -- Troy and Kentucky.

And for that they gave him a Jimbo-lite contract.

You can’t keep using that excuse year after year. Luke has been gone for 3 years, and in less time Heupel has done a lot more and was in worse shape by far than OM.

Knox Kiffin is our real MVP. Thank GOD that kid loves Oxford

It’s starting to feel like Dan Mullen at UF the way he’s acting and his team went off the rails

No what’s rich is OM fans claiming Kiffin is the Portal King, then still bitching how Luke left the cupboard bare.

The two don’t jive but OM fans are too stupid to realize that.

leaning so heavy into the analytics
As a stats enjoyer I’m now starting to wonder what the sample is for these analytics. If it includes all teams/games then it is highly flawed. The fact that Kiffin is known for going for it on fourth down means teams are going to gameplan for that and skew how they defend against him.

Yeah I'd like to see the inputs behind the "analytics".

The 4th down attempt early in the game on Ole Miss's own 30 something didn't make sense, and the 4th down play calls seemed very vanilla in general.

Kinda like pieces of trash at LSU such as Miles (sexual harassed female student and made racist remarks). Orgeron ignored, failed to covered up Guices rape not to mention his troubles with impermissible contact or past violations with other schools. Odell Beckham passing out cash, boosters embezzling more than 1/2 million dollars from Our Lady of Lords. NECK is certainly a wholesome song.

Kiffin has done this everywhere he goes. He puts up points, gives up points, and makes ludicrous calls every single game. He is a career 7-5 / 8-4 coach and always will be.

Lane kiffin is nothing more than a child.

He never grew up and acts like it.

He's an attention where too. What he did with trying to play the race card with nothing more than an example of that. A kid in trouble who was looking for a way out so he lied to his parents.
