Sure they didn’t…..OM has behaved like a petulant child. From the AD to the state troopers

He has money on Ole Miss. Literally. Could hurt LSU in the Texas Bowl though

Would yall prefer your offensive staff doesn’t coach the playoffs?

So you believe that it was Ole Miss that said “Every offensive coach in the building, get the frick out of here now that Lane’s gone.” Ight.

Well, per your board, anyone on a flight to Baton Rouge was not going to be allowed to come back. Good that the AD came to his senses

There are men that are to be trusted with integrity and those that have proven they have none that are not welcome to lead our men.

There’s been nothing but glowing praise from the Athletic Department about Charlie’s character, and he got on the plane very publicly on video and was identified. It’s obvious folks made decisions out of fear for their livelihoods and feelings are finally starting to cool off. The fact that Lane feels he has to address it through Pete Thamel should be telling to you.

So he's making a business decision since LSU said they'd pay him CFP bonus money from an Ole Miss win...

LSU should have paid those incentives to Lane and kept those coaches in BR.

Why was it only the offensive staff that was affected then?

Why can’t Lane go on to Gameday?

I mean he’s the one who tried to blackmail them into leaving in the first place. Ole Miss didn’t give assistants any ultimatum. Sounds like he got his feelings hurt when people called him an a-hole. Like the petulant child he is.

...or LSU agreed to give Lane all his contract incentives so it's in his best interest financially for Ole Miss to do well.

the funny part in all this is Ole Miss made a huge deal about Lane trying to poach Ole Miss players coaching in the postseason, yet they're letting his future LSU staff do exactly that. Good call I guess

Just asking because I dont know the answer, and not a troll, but because all those other coaches were still under contract at ole miss, could this have been a play to avoid paying buyout plus penalties for not honoring contract?

Lane should have told them to frick off. They threatened him clearly, said if you won’t sign your extension and lock in w/ us for the foreseeable future, your out. But thanks for getting us here! And now they are up shite creek w/o a paddle. If he threatened OM with these coaches…why did he let them return? Lol. Lane would be poaching your coaches/players regardless if he had stayed or not. You know that right? And now you are letting 5 LSU coaches come run your O? AD fricked this up royally. WAOM at its finest.

He was smart not to. After seeing how they’ve acted, Lane would get the Trump treatment, with Rece being a CNN anchor.

“Coach Lane, is it true you were vindictive and threatened your staff if they didn’t join you on that plane, they would not be allowed to work with you at LSU?”

I know it would’ve been scorching. Lane is better off letting this cool off

Show some manners and just say "thank you". You're the one who sounds like a petulant child.
