yes his 10-3 back to back seasons after his playoff appearance would indicate a decline. I guess with that logic LSU had the same issue after 2012.

That would be correct. But Less going 13-1 was more a fluke than anything. Jimbo was legitimately a great coach around 2013.

Soft OOC schedule for the next 2 years gives you no excuses not to snag 9 wins each season

Reasonable non-delusional aggys who admits a soft OOC schedule do exist. Who knew?

in A&M's situation you could not pass up the opportunity to snag one of 5 active coaches at the time with a national championship. Yes it came with a very high price tag but the jury is still out on the ROI. I will say based on our OOC schedule for the foreseeable future 9 wins should be a minimum with the talent he is bringing in.

There isn’t an Ag alive who wouldn’t admit that.
We’ve had 2020 circled on the calendar for years—for that very reason.

Okay, given all that you have indicated in your post...

What would be your plan? Fire Jimbo? And hire who?

Yell leaders have led the horse laugh maybe once or twice in the last 10 years.

A&M needs to go back to being strictly a military preparatory school and run the wishbone Imo; look at Navy's success in the last 20 years, now imagine what could be accomplished with the athletes y'all have

If Ed Orgeron can win a National Championship, is coaching even important?

What is A&M's record versus LSU since joining the SEC? Sit down boy, and wipe that Bama spooge off your chin.

Texas A&M (and Arky) should have stayed in the Texas conference.

I hear this a lot but never hear anyone mention mizzou. So does mizzou belong in the SEC now?

Nope. 7.5 million bucks a year and Candy was his ticket out of Tallahassee.

Depends on the school: Aggy had Bryant and Stallings who won NCs at Bama but neither came close with y'all: Jimbo will continue that tradition. Likewise SCar had NC coaches in Dietzel, Holtz and Spurrier: nothing

UNC also has Mack Brown now. Will probably be a similar outcome.

Depends on where you are looking.

The only place it really matters. W-L record first 2 years compared.

Very similar overal and both did better year 1 with someone else's roster.

A&M wasn't or isn't horrible, nor I'm saying you should fire Fisher right now; just that he hasn't improved the product starting from a reasonably good base.

It's always good to improve the rsoter but A&M hans't been that off. Only the defensive secondary seems to be a bit of a talent issue for A&M compared to the upper echelon of the SEC. WR, DL, RB, A&M has had plenty of talent.

What a silly argument.

Ed O only won 15 games in his first 2 seasons. Guess that means he’s worse than Sumlin & Jimbo.

I think they are. No other way to explain the influx of their fans here.
